Artist Profile

Ceramic artist YAYA, born in Tokyo, comes from a family background of farmers in Gunma, which has deeply rooted her connection to nature, the earth, and soil. It has now been 13 years since she began working with ceramics. Over the years, she has frequently traveled to places like Hawaii and Okinawa, always seeking to connect her heart and body with nature—an experience that continually nourishes her creative process.

• How long will it take to fill my order?

Our kokedama are all carefully handcrafted by us with love. That means every one of them is made to order. For that reason, it may take from a week to two weeks to finish creating and delivering your kokedama. 

• Requests for personal Messages

If you purchase a gift card to go with the kokedama you are sending as a gift, you can include a special message. Please choose one of the message cards shown on our website. We will then write your personal message on the card for you.
